APPOINTMENT

The Greenwich Veterinary Center was founded in 1998. We firmly believe that pets are family members and deserve the very best in medical care. Our mission is to provide quality, compassionate care and to treat each pet as if it were our own.

We have assembled a group of some of the finest veterinarians in Fairfield County, along with a dedicated team of supporting staff. Our state of the art hospital is outfitted with the latest in diagnostic and treatment equipment including digital radiology, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, a surgical suite, and a dedicated dental suite. This equipment gives us the full-service capability to address all of your pet’s medical and surgical needs. We will also provide house calls for those patients who feel more comfortable being treated at home.

Meet Our Doctors

Philip Pacchiana

Philip Pacchiana

DVM, MS, DACVS

Dr. Pacchiana has performed thousands of orthopedic, soft tissue, and neurosurgical procedures. He has experience in treating almost all surgical conditions in dogs and cats. Dr. Pacchiana is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed an internship in medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital as well as a surgical internship at the Dallas Veterinary Center. Dr. Pacchiana went on to complete a residency in small animal surgery and a masters of science in veterinary medicine at the University of Minnesota. He became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2003. Dr. Pacchiana spent 8 years as the chief of surgery at the Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists. He has many peer-reviewed publications in academic journals and is often asked to lecture at local and national meetings. In his spare time, Dr. Pacchiana enjoys water skiing and all water sports.
Marcus Suppo

Marcus Suppo

DVM

Dr. Marcus Suppo attended Washington College as an undergraduate obtaining his degree in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 1997. He is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and served on the Board of Directors at the New Rochelle Humane Society for six years. Dr. Suppo’s professional interests include dentistry, disorders of the endocrine system, and zoonotic diseases. At home, Dr. Suppo enjoys spending time with his three sons, Oliver, Benjamin, and Mateo, as well as hiking, biking, and nutrition. He is also the pet parent to Trippy, a Terrier mix.

Priscilla Whittington

Priscilla Whittington

DVM

Dr. Whittington finished her undergraduate at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri Columbia and a Masters of Public Administration at Bernard Baruch College. She also completed Post-Doctoral studies at New York Medical College for one year in Research Studies. Dr. Whittington joined the Greenwich team in May 2021 and loves building relationships with pet families.
Camila Colberg

Camila Colberg

DVM

Dr. Camila Colberg graduated from the Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil, in 2005. After earning her MSc. in 2007, she moved to the US to work at Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC), NY, as a Visiting Scientist. In 2013, Dr. Colberg completed the ECFVG (Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates). She enjoys the broad spectrum of medicine and surgery that general practice provides and has a strong interest in dermatology, preventative medicine, internal medicine, and surgery. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband Adam, her 2 little boys Gabriel and Marcus, and her 2 Frenchies, Tinkerbell, and Lena. She enjoys gardening, hiking, yoga, reading, and a good Brazilian BBQ in her spare time!

Camille Alanano

Camille Alanano

Practice Manager

Camille is a caring person, committed to the welfare of both humans and animals alike. In addition to working in the animal field at Greenwich Veterinary Center, Camille is also studying full-time in the health field. She is blessed to have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniels named Ella that has taught her the reward of owning pets. Camille lives locally with her family and enjoys spending time at the gym outside of the office.

Leslie Angel

Leslie Angel

Receptionist

Leslie Angel got her Associate’s Degree in Norwalk Community College for Criminal Justice back in 2016 and is currently working on her Bachelor’s Degree at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She has been working her way through to become a police officer and her goal is to become a K9 Unit Office in Narcotics. Before Greenwich Veterinary Center, she was working at a dog grooming salon, Groom To Bloom in Stamford,CT. Some of her interests while she’s not working with furry friends are playing soccer, zumba and spending time with her family.
Rebecca Grudzinski

Rebecca Grudzinski

Veterinary Assistant

Rebecca Grudzinski joined the Greenwich Veterinary Center team in November 2019 as a Receptionist. Shortly after, she was promoted to Veterinary Assistant, a role she now proudly represents. Rebecca’s favorite thing about working at GVC is meeting all the different breeds of cats & dogs and seeing their spunky personalities. Currently, she is pursuing a Veterinary Technology degree at Norwalk Community College to become a licensed Veterinary Technician. Rebecca has two dogs, a Samoyed named Luna and a Maltipoo named Oreo. In her free time, she enjoys going on long walks with Luna, Kayaking, and seeing Broadway shows.
Sergio Lopez

Sergio Lopez

Veterinary Technician

Sergio Lopez came to the United States in 2001 from Guatemala and began his career in the veterinary field about 18 years ago. He started working as a kennel attendant at a hospital in Stamford, CT. After two years working for this hospital, he began part of the clinical team working as a Technician Assistant. He went to multiple locations to learn more about the veterinary field. He went to Tufts University and Cornell University Veterinary Specialists and received Continued Education. He has experience working with wild animals after working for 3 years at LEO Zoological Conservation Center in Greenwich, CT. Sergio has been working as a Veterinary Technician for many years at Animal Medical Center in NYC and United Care in Stamford, CT. He joined Greenwich Veterinary Center in March 2020 along with other two hospitals in Connecticut as a Lead Technician.

Diana Mitova

Diana Mitova

Receptionist/Kennel Assistant

Diana Mitova is a skilled customer service representative with 6 years of work experience in the hospitality industry and related fields and joined Greenwich Veterinary Center in December of 2020 as a Receptionist and Kennel Assistant. She is a 2021 graduate of The University of Connecticut with a BA in Psychological Sciences. Diana is a member of the International Psychology Society (PsiChi), Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society, and Tau Sigma National Honors Society. She is a UCONN Babidge Scholar and attending graduate school at Columbia University. In her free time she likes to run marathons, and spend time with her pets, Buckie, Binxie and Enzo. Diana is dedicated to providing exceptional service to each customer and their furry companions.

Melissa Oliveros

Veterinary Technician/Receptionist

Melissa Oliveros is a Spanish-speaking bilingual Veterinary Technician and Receptionist and has been here for about 2 years at Greenwich Veterinary Center. She not only has experience with dogs and cats but also with small exotic animals as well, such as hamsters and chinchillas. Melissa enjoys building relationships with clients as well. She is hard-working, dedicated, and provides excellent patient care. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Jane Pluhowski, LVT, CCRP

Jane Pluhowski, LVT, CCRP

Veterinary Technician & Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner

After receiving her Bachelors in Animal Science from Cornell University in 2009, Jane went on to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology from Bergen Community College. As a licensed veterinary technician, she explored many aspects of nursing while working with a diversity of species including companion animals, exotics, marine animals, and wildlife. She quickly became aware of the importance of physical rehabilitation and its role in improving her patients’ quality of life, regardless of species, breed, age or physical health. She attended the University of Tennessee’s certificate program and became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) in 2015. She is currently working towards certifications in canine massage therapy, canine craniosacral therapy, animal neuro-myofascial release and kinesiotaping. She is passionate about advocating for our beloved companions by providing attentive, individualized care and owner education, strengthening the human-animal bond.
Carlos Romero

Carlos Romero

Lead Veterinary Technician

Carlos has been working in the animal care industry for the past 15 years and has been with Greenwich Veterinary Center since early 2010. He is the quintessential animal person, having a true love for animals and excellent animal handling and technical skills. He is referred to as our ‘dog and cat whisperer’. Carlos’ animal interests extend into his home life as well. He and his family live in Stamford with five ferrets, a cockatoo, and a parakeet and lots of fish.
