Meet the wonderful veterinarians and staff of Greenwich Veterinary Center. We are very pleased to provide excellent care for your pets!

Camila Colberg, DVM

Dr. Camila Dias Colberg, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Camila Colberg graduated from the Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil, in 2005. After earning her MSc. in 2007, she moved to the US to work at Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC), NY, as a Visiting Scientist. In 2013, Dr. Colberg completed the ECFVG (Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates). She enjoys the broad spectrum of medicine and surgery that general practice provides and has a strong interest in dermatology, preventative medicine, internal medicine, and surgery. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband Adam, her 2 little boys Gabriel and Marcus, and her 2 Frenchies, Tinkerbell, and Lena. She enjoys gardening, hiking, yoga, reading, and a good Brazilian BBQ in her spare time!

Camille Alanano

Practice Manager

Camille grew up in the Philippines and always knew she wanted to care for all living things. She is a caring person who is committed to the welfare of both humans and animals alike. She started at Greenwich Veterinary Center in 2015 as an intern and is now our Practice Manager. She is blessed to have grown up with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that has taught her the reward of owning pets. Camille lives locally with her family and 2 cats, Anastasia and Layla. In her spare time, she enjoys numerous activities such as spending time with friends & family, hiking, meditating, longboarding, and is a big lover of all different types of food!

Lead Veterinary Technician

Carlos has been working in the animal care industry for the past 15 years and has been with Greenwich Veterinary Center since early 2010. He is the quintessential animal person, having a true love for animals and excellent animal handling and technical skills. He is referred to as our ‘dog and cat whisperer’. Carlos’ animal interests extend into his home life as well. He and his family live in Norwalk with his 3 cats and enjoys working on his cars in his free time.

Karinna Techera

Veterinary Assistant/Customer Service Representative

Karinna joined the Greenwich Veterinary Center in September 2021 as a Receptionist. Her goal is to become a Veterinary Technician in the hopes to learn and gain experience by working at the clinic. She plans on returning to school and continuing in this field of practice to pursue her Veterinary Technician career. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her two kids, Sebastian and Matias by going to different types of parks and playing games. Karinna also enjoys traveling and trying various new foods.

Veterinary Assistant

Rebecca joined the Greenwich Veterinary Center team in November 2019 as a Receptionist. Shortly after, she was promoted to Veterinary Assistant, a role she now proudly represents. Rebecca’s favorite thing about working at GVC is meeting all the different breeds of cats & dogs and seeing their spunky personalities. Currently, she is pursuing a Veterinary Technology degree at Norwalk Community College to become a licensed Veterinary Technician. Rebecca has two dogs, a Samoyed named Luna and a Maltipoo named Oreo. In her free time, she enjoys going on long walks with Luna, Kayaking, and seeing Broadway shows.

Sergio Lopez Veterinary Technician

Veterinary Technician

Sergio came to the United States in 2001 from Guatemala and began his career in the veterinary field about 18 years ago. He started working as a kennel attendant at a hospital in Stamford, CT. After two years working for this hospital, he began part of the clinical team working as a Technician Assistant. He went to multiple locations to learn more about the veterinary field. He went to Tufts University and Cornell University Veterinary Specialists and received Continued Education. He has experience working with wild animals after working for 3 years at LEO Zoological Conservation Center in Greenwich, CT. Sergio has been working as a Veterinary Technician for many years at Animal Medical Center in NYC and United Care in Stamford, CT. He joined Greenwich Veterinary Center in March 2020 along with other two hospitals in Connecticut as a Lead Technician.

Yexenia

Veterinary Assistant

Yexenia joined Greenwich Veterinary Center in July 2022 as a Veterinary Assistant. She has been working in the veterinary field for the last 5 years. Currently, she is in the Veterinary Technician program to pursue her license. She is a big animal lover and has 5 dogs, a cat and a bearded dragon at home. Outside of work, she loves to keep herself busy and goes on nature walks, hikes, and the park with her dogs and her son Isaias.

“Dr. Marcus Suppo is the definition of living life to the fullest. There are not enough words or imagery one can use or say when it comes to how much Dr. Suppo has accomplished and left behind. He gave care, love, and surgical prowess to clients and pets wherever he went. He was respected, admired, and the type of person who went above and beyond for any client or animal.
